  1. Kassidy: To dry your strawberries, pat them with a paper towel to remove excess water.
    1. This is important for getting the chocolate to stick to the strawberries
    2. If the strawberries are the least bit wet they will not stick

(Stella does strawberry drying)

  1. Stella: This is optional, but if you would like toppings add a handful of the toppings of your choice onto a small plate
  2. Stella: Next, line a sheet pan with parchment paper

(Video on PowerPoint)

  1. Kassidy: Now that we have lined the pan, it is time to add the chocolate to a small microwave-proof bowl and microwave in 30-second intervals
    1. Essential to ensure that the chocolate does not burn
    2. heating times may vary depending on the wattage of the microwave

(Video)

  1. Stella: Perfect, your chocolate is now all prepped and ready! Now it’s time to grab the strawberries. Hold the strawberries by the stem and one by one dip them into the melted chocolate
    1. A good tip is to, lift and twist the strawberry slightly to allow the excess chocolate to fall back into the bowl

(Kassidy does action)

  1. Kassidy: If you want to include toppings, now is the time. Dip or roll your strawberry in the desired toppings

  1. Kassidy: Then, place the strawberry on the parchment paper
  2. Kassidy: Repeat these steps with all of your strawberries
  3. Stella: Chill the strawberries until the chocolate sets
    1. About 15 mins
  4. Stella: Once chilled take out and enjoy!
