I agree with this statement because when a new piece of technology comes out majority of people will get whatever it may be and focus so much on learning how to use it and what things they can do with it. Especially in today’s day and age people are so consumed by the technology around them that they continuously get sucked into the media/technology world around them. People can spend so much time doing this that technology runs their life and it becomes apart of their everyday live. In the paragraph the author also stated the more you use them, they use you. Which basically all the things you do on your iphone, or computer, etc. the more you use them there ads that get put out for new apps to keep you attached to you piece of technology.

What are some of the effects we see when people start to get attached to technology and really rely on it?
