QCQ for _(name the reading)__10 Tips on Writing the Living Web__________________________________________

Quotation (with page number or parag number or time stamp if video/audio)

“Living sites are only as good as today’s update. If the words are dull, nobody will read them, and nobody will come back. If the words are wrong, people will be misled, disappointed, infuriated. If the words aren’t there, people will shake their heads and lament your untimely demise.”

Comment (250-500 words)

In this article the author is giving out ways to help you write on the web. When reading the article I came across this quote which I do agree with. The first part of the quote says living sites are only as good as todays update, when I read to myself and thinking about the living web and how it is constantly changing to what is happening in people’s lives or around the world, people don’t want the same article over and over again they want to read about new things every day. When you are writing for the living web it is hard to come up with ideas to write about because somebody has already written about that subject, and if you choose to write about that subject your article will get lost with the other articles about the subject. The good thing about the living web is that you could write about anything. If you are interested in what you are writing and make it interesting for the readers, they will keep coming back to your page to read more of what you have to say. The author of this article also said that in order to have people keep coming back to your page and reading what you have to say, you have to write consistently not constantly and not long but often. He says this because when you are inconsistent, it turns people away and makes the reader stray away from your page.
