QCQ is short for “Quotation-Comment-Question.” It begins with a Quotation of 1-3 sentences. It then has a Comment. And it then asks a Question that encourages engagement from others. A good QCQ gives you something to bring to the table and offers something worth discussing in class. Earn full credit (1000 points) for a QCQ that touches all 3 bases – and is in on time.

“In the world of digitally networked publics, online participation-if you know how to do it-can translate into real power” Page 2

Comment (250-500 words)

When reading the article I came across this quote, I think that what the other of this quote was trying to say or get across, was that if you know how to create a digital presence you can start to have power. What I mean by that is once you are more consistent with what you post and make it relevant to who are posting for people will start to notice and continuously keep up with your page and keep checking for updates. After that your page and what you built based on the things you post will only grow from there. That you will have a lot of influence on the people who read what you write, etc. Be confident in what you post and write about things that are interesting to you so that readers who are also interested stay connected and keep coming back for more.
